As *Aliciane says, the progression between the previous paintings of the character and this is very, very impressive. The amount of details in this picture makes it seem so real (especially the use of textures! *drool*)

I like the face very much ! Did you use a reference ? Because the face has a lot of your own style and characteristics but feels very livery and credible to me, I'm especially fascinated by the lips which I find very realistic. Therefore, either you have made a very good use of a reference and succeeded in injecting in your own style, or you've done a very good face from imagination. Both options are impressive !
I also like your use of textures, you don't do this quite often and you've done a good job with that with the fabric of her vest. The texture on the legs is less inspired though. Ah, and your hair look very very realistic, I like them a lot !
My main regret is that you put your character on a grey background. I know it's kinda usual for character design, but with that nice blue light coming from the left, I would have hoped at least a gradient background whose colours would have fit this colour scheme or something
ah yeah, the last part of your comments... i was gonna do that but didnt because i thought it wouldn't make much difference. now i see it was quite an important thing.
and i dont use reference when painting this. but i do use references in the past, so all the things i learnt from references r memorized and applied it here.
We would like to ask permission if you could please share your artwork on our new magazine Cos & Effect [link]. We will credit you as soon as the first issue on May 2013 is released. thank you for your kindness.
